Stem

Stem plants, as the name implies, are plants that grows stems and new leaves shoot out from the central stem. They usually grow very quickly in optimal environments. Some stem plants are also considered as a weed in some parts of the world due to their invasive, fast growth. Stem plants grow bushier with repeated trimmings, which makes them popular as background plants in aquascapes.
