Cyprinids

Cyprinids are fishes with no stomach and teeth. They can chew food effectively, however, using a specialized organ in the last gill bow. Cyprinids comprises the carps, the true minnows, and the barbs. In aquascaping, cyprinids are often kept as schooling fishes since many of them exhibit beautiful colouration.
